Privacy Policy

Last updated March 19, 2026

This Privacy Policy explains how Gameer collects, uses, stores, and shares information when you use our websites, apps, games, creator tools, and other related services (collectively, the "Services").

This page is written to match how the current product works in this repository. It is not a promise that every integration or feature will stay the same forever, and it should be reviewed again whenever major product, payments, advertising, or AI workflows change.

If you have questions, requests, or privacy concerns, contact support@gameer.ai.

Summary

  • We collect account data, creator content, gameplay and usage data, support and waitlist submissions, and limited subscription and billing metadata.
  • We use third-party providers for authentication, hosting, storage, analytics, payments, communications, and AI generation.
  • If you publish or share a game, some of your content can become public or visible to anyone with the link.
  • We use cookies and similar storage for core site functions and, where applicable, analytics and marketing preferences.
  • You can contact us to request access, correction, deletion, or other privacy actions available under applicable law.

1. What We Collect

The information we collect depends on how you use Gameer. The main categories are:

  • Account and profile data: email address, username, authentication provider, profile photo, account timestamps, and account preferences such as newsletter subscription.
  • Authentication data: if you sign in with email/password, authentication credentials are handled by Firebase Authentication; if you sign in with Google, we may receive your email address, name, and profile image from Google.
  • Creator and gameplay content: prompts, story ideas, game metadata, choices, chat messages, comments, uploaded images, audio, video, and other files or content you submit.
  • Support, contact, and waitlist data: name, email address, optional company name, message contents, referral context, and related submission metadata.
  • Subscription and purchase data: plan selection, billing address collected at checkout, subscription status, Stripe customer or subscription IDs, and transaction status. We do not store full payment card numbers in our application.
  • Usage, device, and log data: IP address, browser and device details, page URLs, referrer, timestamps, session identifiers, user agent, language, timezone, screen resolution, and related diagnostic data.

2. How We Use Information

We use personal information to operate and improve the Services, including to:

  • create and manage accounts, authenticate users, and secure the Services;
  • generate games, images, audio, and other AI-powered outputs you request;
  • host, deliver, and display games and creator content;
  • process subscriptions, manage billing, and provide customer support;
  • review content, investigate abuse, detect fraud, and enforce our rules;
  • analyze product usage and improve performance, reliability, and UX;
  • send transactional, operational, and optional marketing communications;
  • comply with legal obligations and protect our rights, users, and systems.

3. How We Share Information

We share information only as needed to run the product, complete transactions, or comply with law. This includes sharing with service providers and infrastructure partners such as:

  • Authentication, database, analytics, and hosting providers such as Firebase and Google services
  • Payment processors such as Stripe
  • AI providers such as OpenAI, Anthropic, and Replicate when needed to generate or analyze content you request
  • Analytics and advertising tools such as Google Analytics, PostHog, Hotjar, and Reddit Pixel
  • Communications and operations tools such as email delivery providers, SMTP services, and Slack

We may also share information:

  • when you publish, share, or embed content and choose to make it public or accessible by link;
  • with professional advisers or acquirers in connection with financing, restructuring, merger, sale, or other business transfer;
  • when required by law, legal process, or to protect rights and safety.

4. Cookies, Local Storage, and Tracking

We use cookies and similar storage technologies, including local storage and session storage, for core product functions such as authentication state, consent preferences, game/session continuity, and saved settings.

We also use analytics and marketing technologies. In the current web app, these may include Google Analytics, Hotjar, PostHog, campaign attribution storage, and Reddit Pixel. Where our consent tools apply, you can manage analytics, marketing, and preference categories from the cookie banner or settings dialog.

If you are signed in and consent is enabled for the relevant category, some of these tools may receive identifiers such as your email address, username, or user ID for attribution or advanced matching.

We do not currently guarantee that browser do-not-track signals will be recognized across all parts of the Services.

5. AI Features and Uploaded Content

Gameer includes AI-powered generation and analysis features. When you use those features, prompts, conversation context, uploaded files, and related metadata may be sent to third-party AI providers to generate text, images, audio, suggestions, or gameplay content.

Do not submit confidential third-party information, personal data you do not have permission to use, or any material you are not comfortable sending through these providers. You are responsible for reviewing AI outputs before publishing or using them commercially.

6. Retention

We keep information for as long as reasonably necessary to provide the Services, maintain accounts, support published or shared content, comply with law, resolve disputes, prevent abuse, and enforce our agreements.

If you delete your account or request deletion, we will delete or de-identify data we control unless we need to keep limited records for security, fraud prevention, billing, tax, legal compliance, or backup and recovery purposes. Publicly shared or published content may remain accessible until it is removed from our systems and caches.

7. Your Choices and Rights

Depending on where you live, you may have rights to:

  • access, correct, or delete personal information we hold about you;
  • object to or restrict certain processing;
  • receive a portable copy of certain information;
  • opt out of certain marketing or targeted advertising activities.

You can also:

If you believe a child under 13 has provided personal information to us, contact support@gameer.ai and we will investigate and take appropriate action.

If you are under the age at which you can legally consent to data processing or enter a binding agreement in your jurisdiction, use the Services only with the permission and supervision required by applicable law.

9. International Processing

We and our service providers may process information in the United States and other countries where we or our providers operate. Those locations may have privacy laws that differ from your jurisdiction.
