This Privacy Policy explains how Gameer collects, uses, stores, and shares personal information when you use our websites, apps, games, creator tools, embeds, billing flows, marketing pages, and related services.

This policy is written to match the current Gameer product behavior reflected in this repository. Because the product changes quickly, this page should be reviewed whenever our account, AI, payments, advertising, or creator-publishing flows materially change.

3. How We Receive Information

We receive personal information from several sources:

  • directly from you when you create an account, upload content, publish a game, subscribe, apply, or contact us;
  • automatically from your browser, device, cookies, local storage, game sessions, and analytics integrations;
  • from third parties such as Firebase/Google authentication, Stripe, analytics providers, AI/media providers, email providers, and anti-abuse tools;
  • from other users or public sources when they share, tag, embed, or discuss content connected to your games or creator profile;
  • from creator application review tools, including social-link parsing and follower verification workflows.

4. How We Use Personal Information

We use personal information to operate and improve the Services, including to:

  • create and manage accounts, authenticate users, and secure the Services;
  • generate, store, render, host, and publish games and related media;
  • process creator applications, review submissions, manage moderation, and enforce platform rules;
  • process subscriptions, billing, cancellations, refunds, and support interactions;
  • send transactional, operational, legal, and optional marketing communications;
  • measure product usage, campaign performance, creator funnels, subscription funnels, and public-game performance;
  • detect fraud, abuse, scraping, chargeback risk, and other security or legal issues;
  • comply with legal obligations and protect the rights, safety, and systems of Gameer, our users, and third parties.

If you are in the EEA, UK, or Switzerland, we generally process personal data on the following legal bases as applicable: performance of a contract with you, our legitimate interests in operating and protecting the Services, your consent, and compliance with legal obligations.

You can opt out of non-essential marketing emails using the unsubscribe mechanism in those messages. We may still send transactional, security, billing, support, and legal notices even if you opt out of marketing communications.

5. Public Content, Profiles, and Published Games

If you publish a game, enable sharing, use embeds, or maintain a public profile, information such as your creator name, username, profile image, game title, metadata, thumbnails, clips, launch assets, game links, play stats, and related attribution may be visible to other users or to anyone with the link or embed.

Public content may be indexed, cached, screenshotted, shared, or reposted by third parties outside our control. Editing or deleting the original content does not guarantee immediate removal of public copies, caches, shared links, screenshots, or embedded instances.

6. How We Share Information

We share personal information only as needed to provide the product, process transactions, protect the Services, or comply with law.

  • Infrastructure and account providers: Firebase, Google services, cloud hosting, storage, CDN, and related technical providers.
  • Payment providers: Stripe and related billing systems.
  • AI and media-generation providers: providers such as OpenAI, Anthropic, Replicate, and other media-generation or analysis vendors used to fulfill your requests.
  • Analytics and advertising providers: providers such as Google Analytics, PostHog, Hotjar, Reddit Pixel, and attribution tools.
  • Communications and operations providers: email, SMTP, support, notification, and Slack-based operations tooling.
  • Business transfers and advisers: in connection with financing, diligence, merger, sale, restructuring, or similar transactions.
  • Legal and safety disclosures: when required by law, legal process, or to protect rights, safety, security, and fraud-prevention interests.

We do not state that we sell personal information for money. However, some disclosures involving analytics or advertising identifiers may be considered sale, sharing, or targeted advertising under certain U.S. state privacy laws. Where our tools support it, you can use cookie controls and similar settings to limit those disclosures.

Depending on the context, recipients may process information as our service providers, independent controllers, or business partners under their own terms and privacy notices. Publicly shared or embedded content may also be accessed by search engines, platforms, and other third parties outside our control.

7. Cookies, Local Storage, Analytics, and Advertising

We use cookies, local storage, session storage, and similar technologies for essential product functions such as authentication state, security, consent preferences, game or session continuity, creator workflow state, and saved settings.

Subject to available consent controls, we also use analytics and marketing technologies such as Google Analytics, PostHog, Hotjar, referral tracking, attribution storage, and Reddit Pixel. These tools help us measure product usage, CTA performance, creator conversion, checkout flow, and campaign effectiveness.

You can manage cookie preferences through our cookie banner or cookie settings dialog when those controls are available. Browser controls can also limit cookies, although some product features may stop working. We do not guarantee that all browser do-not- track or similar signals will be recognized across every part of the Services.

8. AI Features and Uploaded Content

When you use AI or media-generation features, prompts, chat context, uploaded files, and related metadata may be sent to third-party providers so the requested output can be generated or analyzed. That may include images, audio, video, scene descriptions, narrative instructions, or gameplay context.

Do not submit personal data you are not authorized to use, confidential third-party information, or material you would not want processed by those providers. You are responsible for reviewing outputs before publishing or relying on them.

9. Retention, Deletion, and De-Identification

We retain personal information for as long as reasonably necessary to provide the Services, maintain accounts, support published or shared content, process payments, enforce our agreements, investigate abuse, comply with law, and resolve disputes.

If you delete your account or ask us to delete information, we will delete or de-identify data we control unless we need to retain it for security, fraud prevention, billing, tax, legal compliance, backup, recovery, moderation history, or the continued operation of public or shared experiences.

Current code paths do not guarantee full cascade deletion of every draft, published asset, analytics record, share artifact, backup, or cache associated with an account. Publicly shared or published content may persist until removed from relevant systems or third-party surfaces.

10. Security

We use administrative, technical, and organizational measures intended to protect personal information. No system is perfectly secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security. You should also protect your account credentials and use appropriate security practices on your own devices.

11. International Processing and Transfers

Gameer and our providers may process information in the United States and other countries where we or our service providers operate. Those countries may have data- protection laws that differ from the laws where you live.

When required by applicable law, we will use recognized transfer mechanisms for cross- border data transfers, which may include adequacy decisions or contractual safeguards.

12. Your Rights and Region-Specific Notices

We may need to verify your identity before acting on a request. You or an authorized agent may submit requests by emailing support@gameer.ai. We may request information reasonably necessary to verify your identity, authority, and the scope of your request, and we may deny or limit a request where permitted by law, including where an exemption applies or we cannot verify the request.

EEA, UK, and Switzerland

Depending on applicable law, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, restrict, object to certain processing, receive portability of certain data, withdraw consent, and lodge a complaint with your local supervisory authority. UK users may complain to the Information Commissioner's Office.

Where we rely on consent, you may withdraw it at any time, although that does not affect processing already carried out. Where we rely on legitimate interests, you may object where applicable and we will consider your request under the governing law.

California and Other U.S. State Privacy Laws

Depending on the state law that applies, you may have rights to know/access, correct, delete, and obtain a copy of certain personal information, and to opt out of certain sales, sharing, or targeted-advertising disclosures. Where available, you can use our cookie controls to limit analytics and marketing cookies. We will not unlawfully discriminate against you for exercising a privacy right.

We do not knowingly sell or share the personal information of consumers we know to be under 16 years old without the opt-in authorization required by applicable law. If you use an authorized agent, we may require proof of the agent's permission and may still ask you to verify your identity directly where permitted by law.

Canada

If Canadian privacy law applies, you may request access to personal information we hold about you and ask us to correct inaccuracies, subject to applicable exceptions.

Brazil

If the LGPD applies, you may have rights to confirmation of processing, access, correction, anonymization, blocking, deletion in applicable cases, portability, information about sharing, and information about the consequences of withholding consent, subject to legal limitations.

Australia

If the Australian Privacy Act applies, you may request access to and correction of personal information we hold about you and may complain to the OAIC if you believe your privacy rights have been infringed.

13. Children and Age-Sensitive Use

The Services are not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13 without authorization required by law. If you believe a child under 13 has provided us personal information, contact support@gameer.ai and we will investigate and take appropriate action.

If a higher age threshold applies where you live, you should use the Services only with the consent or supervision required by local law.

14. Changes to This Policy and Contact

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will update the date at the top of this page and may provide additional notice when required. If we intend to use previously collected personal information in a materially different way than described here, we will provide additional notice or obtain consent when required by applicable law.

Privacy questions, complaints, and rights requests should be sent to support@gameer.ai.
